It’s easy to get to Altenburg's!
From Wisconsin Rapids:
Take Highway 54 east, 3 miles from the city limits. Our farm is on Highway 54, on the south side of the road, across from Donahue Super Sports.
From Stevens Point/Plover:
Take Business Highway 51 south to Plover. Head west on Highway 54. Our farm is just inside Wood County, 10 miles from the Bus. Hwy. 51/Hwy. 54 intersection. It’s on the south side of the road, across from Donahue Super Sports.
From Marshfield:
Take Highway 13 south to Wisconsin Rapids. Then head east on Highway 54. Our farm is 3 miles east of Wisconsin Rapids, on Highway 54, on the south side of the road, across from Donahue Super Sports.
From Wausau and the north:
Take Interstate 39 south to Plover. Exit at Highway B. Head west on Highway B. At McDonald’s, Highway B becomes Highway 54 west. Head west on Highway 54. Our farm is just inside Wood County, 10 miles from the McDonald’s in Plover. It is on the south side of the road, across from Donahue Super Sports.
From Appleton and the east:
Take Highway 10 west to Highway B West at Amherst. Exit at Highway B and head west to Plover. At McDonald’s, Highway B becomes Highway 54 west. Head west on Highway 54. Our farm is just inside Wood County, 10 miles from the McDonald’s in Plover. It is on the south side of the road, across from Donahue Super Sports.
From the Adams/Friendship area:
Take Highway 13 north to Wisconsin Rapids. Then head east on Highway 54. Our farm is 3 miles east of Wisconsin Rapids, on Highway 54, on the south side of the road, across from Donahue Super Sports.
From Madison and the south:
Take Interstate 39 north to Plover. Exit at Highway 54. Head west on Highway 54. Our farm is 12 miles west of the Interstate 39/Highway 54 interchange in Plover. It’s just inside Wood County on the south side of the road, across from Donahue Super Sports.

The 2008 strawberry season starts Thursday, June 19. We have picking every day at 6:30 a.m. Other picking times (see below) depend on picking conditions. Please call ahead for that day's picking times and to order Altenburg's own already picked strawberries. 715-421-2943
